On June 28 CYP honored several students for the successful completion of their high school years, they are now ready to begin their next stage in life, pursuing various fields studies, from nursing to forensics to name just a few.

“We thank all of our partners who celebrated with us, donated to the event and our giveaways, shared valuable information and encouraged our cultivation of new leaders,” said CYP in an email to supporters.

Now, the group wants to better understand the needs of the community through an online survey.

“As we move forward in our mission, we have embarked on a community wide survey of Ocean Hill-Brownsville residents to learn more about their concerns and their loves for this place we call home.  Take a moment and share your thoughts with us,” wrote Coalition of Young Professionals in a statement about the survey. “We want to make Ocean Hill-Brownsville a viable place to live, work and socialize.”
