21 Organizations Partner With East Brooklyn 5K Run Walk

5k Banner 2015In this year’s East Brooklyn 5K Run/Walk (Saturday Sept. 19, 2015),  East New York Restoration LDC has partnered with 20 Community Based Organizations to support Healthy Living throughout East Brooklyn, which includes East New York, Canarsie, Brownsville, East Flatbush and Crown Heights.  Community Based Organizations receive part of the proceeds from every registrant who signs up to run or walk in the East Brooklyn 5K Run/Walk.  During the registration process the registering runner or walker is prompted to select one of the 22 organizations that they would like to support.  $10 of their $20 registration fee then goes to that organization.

September 16 (12pm-6pm), Thursday Sept 17 (12pm-8pm) or Friday Sept 18 (12pm-6pm).  Their offices are located at 1159 Elton Street, Brooklyn NY 11239, in the brand new Elton/Gateway Corridor, steps from the Gateway Center Mall.  Their office number is 718-676-5920.  Below is the list of partnering Community Based Organizations.
